Hi Everyone
I read some discussion about using dominos or other aids to strengthen a mitre joint and thought that it might be useful to share a simple technique to make excellent mitre joints. The key is to be able to cut a near perfect mitre and for that I use my Kapex. Once the pieces are cut to length the rest is very quick and easy with no dominos, screws or biscuits. No clamps are required and it comes together square every time.
Here is the video:
In this case I have been making drawers but the technique is equally good for boxes and other things where mitres are appropriate.
