I just thought I would share this story with you all.

The other day I went to my not so local (I tried a different one this time) dealer to go and pick up some sandpaper for my newly acquired DTS 400. I walk into his shop and I am struck immediately by what looks like to me a shipment of Festool stuff. About 8 big boxes worth containing a Kapex, multiple MFT's, CMS modules etc.

After buying my sandpaper we chatted for a bit about the quality and precision of Festool and then we got onto the topic of its costs. Well he then proceeded to tell me that all those boxes were for a customer and that this was her second shipment of Festool goods. At this point I was like  [eek]. He said that she bought everything Festool had to offer; sanders, routers, drills (even the new T series which aren't even here yet) and that the second shipment's cost was over R95 000 ($13 099; 8 368 GBP) my just  [jawdrop]. He also said she put it under business expenses. I just couldn't believe someone could spend that much on Festool at once and for it to be a woman even! My next question of course was "Is she single?" to which he smiled and said "Yes" ;)

I left the shop envious.

With that, you should have bought a Festool ballcap and tee-shirt, hung around, then when the fine lady showed up, chatted with her about how you were sent to help with delivery and setup, for two weeks.  [tongue]

Paul,
You may not get a reply since Chris may still be at the Festool dealer waiting for the newbie to show up!  [tongue]

If you get bored with her you can leave her and take away your half of the festool gear!  Win Win
