I am trying to auto-start my ct15. festool Bluetooth doesn't work with it. I got an auto-start switch, but it just toggles on-off, and not start-stop. The only thing I can think of, is to have the ct15 think something is running with the auto-start outlet on the ct15 when I use the remotely turn it on.

I am outside of my time frame to be able to return the vacuum. This was the first festool thing I bought, and it's becoming a real pain in my ass, as I am also physically disabled.

thanks,

All credit to [member=80837]SuperDuperTango[/member] for the clever trick.

Edit: The two main reasons why some people didn't want to go with the CT15 are no longer here: Lack of blue tooth and the non anti-static hose (anti-static hose is now standard with the CT15). For $170 Cdn or so more, I could have two CT15s instead of just one CT midi.

I'm a bit confused? Did you mean $250 extra?
In the US a CT15 is about $419 and a Midi around $679
That would only be $159 more here, for 2 CT15s, than a single Midi

Haha. You were faster than me. When I noticed missing the word "more" in the sentence (now corrected), I was out having lunch, and decided to edit it later.

I know there's an exchange rate difference, but not that bad....  [big grin]

You're right. With sales tax included, the difference between 2 CT15s ($1152.90) and 1 CT Midi ($985.95) is only $166.95 Cdn. Where did I get that $250 Cdn in the first place? [embarassed]
