How to remove systainer insert without damage

This has probably been covered, but searching the site doesn't return anything.
I have a systainer that originally contained the cordless drill and impact driver.  TI 18 and TID 18.
A battery charger would fit also.

Anyway, I want to remove the insert without damaging it in case I want to use it again.
The insert must be glued in.  Is there a method to remove without damage?

I don’t have that Systainer, but I have similar ones with the foam insert and I believe they are just held in place with double-stick tape on the bottom.  Festool USA has had some of the inserts as replacement parts, FYI.  Not sure if they have every one in stock or not.

Probably a bit late on this topic but if anyone else is wondering...

I have the same drill / driver in Systainer and dont really plan on putting them back in there.. The stainer was useless and taking up precious workshop space.

After reading below that it was double sided tape that held them in, I thought to try removing like a 3M hook, by pulling vertically rather than pulling in the direction it is designed to hold.

I removed it without damage by sitting it up vertically (lid open like a fridge) then using an f-clamp from a section where I could get good deep grip on the insert, clamping to the bench to slowly pull it down.

Once the clamp was nice and tight I used my hands to apply additional pressure where the clamp wasn't, wiggle around a little and SNAP.. the tape came off.. the insert wiggled out, no damage to anything.. It was just two small strips of double sided tape. The insert in one single piece and remanded that way.

Thanks for sharing, I wanted to move the insert over to a sys combi, and add an attic lid, but couldn't get the foam insert out of the sys³. The clamp approach didn't work for me, but it inspired be to keep at it.

I eventually succeeded by spraying a copious amount of degreaser/cleaner (the stuff that most brands that make sm polymer caulk sell)  in the holes of the insert so it could run to the location of the double sided tape. After a while I could remove the insert fairly easy.

You could also apply a bit of heat from the bottom to soften up the tape.
