I've been super happy with my DTS, but keep running into places I can't reach with it. Especially doing windows/doors/stairs. Personally I hate hand sanding because of the dust produced and time consumed. So I started looking at tools that might solve it.
One option I'm considering a multitool like the OSC. The usual 85x85 sanding pad won't help much over the DTS. But there are a few other accessories to sand spots that are hard to reach:
1. Fein's sanding finger, which takes tiny 37x52 mm sanding paper
2. Bosch's carbide sanding finger, available in grit 40 and 100.
3. Bonus: Bosch's profile sander for sanding round surfaces
From the looks of it 1 and 2 might work well with the OSC-AV dust extraction.
One thing I don't like about the OSC is it being cordless. I want my tools to last longer than a battery system does. The corded MultiMaster/SuperCut do not seem to have a nice dust extraction add-on. (I don't think the OSC-AV would fit?)
Option two is the LS130. You can use it to reach corners, grooves, round surfaces, etc. With some customization it can sand area's that are too small for the DTS (eg. narrow valleys that are under 100mm).
What do you use for those hard to reach spots?
