How to set up the second MFT?

Hi all,

I want to ask for your suggestions about the second mft.
I just bought the second mft for a bigger surface, especially for off-cuts.
I connected the two tables by the connectors. Very nice.
Then it occurred to me. Because I happen to have a longer guide rail, I could set up the guide rail along the longer direction of the second table for longer rip cuts. For this, I need some space between the tables so that I can place the rail support  in between the tables, but the gap is still within the length of the connectors.
If we have an even longer guide rail, it may be possible to put the rail support all the way at the end of the next table. In this way, we don't have to worry the guide rails moves during a long rip

It seems there are many ways to arrange and use the two tables together.
If you have two mfts, how are you using them?
Any cool ideas?

My two MFTs are butted together with the standard connectors, but I added an extension to the left most MFT

The extension holds a heavy duty vise and gives me another 10 inches of table. The extension has the correct sized holes with the correct spacing.

The extension has heavy steel legs that provide an extreme amount of rigidity to the two MFTs. I can plane and saw on the MFTs without any movement.

The extension turns the mFTs into a real work bench.

I move mines around to fit whatever Im doing. I made a coupe of coat, shoe racks that were 40" wide and about 6' high so in order to assemble them, domino them, sand them etc, I moved the MFT around.
