How to tell when the bag is full

I own the CT36e and was wondering if there is an easy way to tell when the bag is full.  I was looking through the manual but didn't see anything.  Is there a sure way to tell when to change bags?

When the bag starts to get full, you'll begin to notice a decrease in suction. Once you feel that you're not getting adequate suction, it's time for a new bag.

Also, if you feel the exhaust air and it is really warm, also a good indicator that the bag needs a change.

PS: AND with a CT36, if you have problems lifting it, it is definitely full!!
