...with my new DTS 400 REQ.  So smooth, so much power, such a perfect grip, such a perfect weight distribution. 

I am refinishing a set of hardwood stairs, and I don't want the sanding to end !!

I am rationalizing my sander inventory.  Selling my : DX93, RTS 400, and RO90 (never felt the love for this sander).  Replacing these three sanders with the new DTS 400 REQ and a new RTS 400 REQ.  My RTS 400 is one of my favorite sanders of all time, the new version can only be that much better. 

So exciting getting new Festools. 

Using my new Syslite II to show me the way on this stair job.  Such a nice light !

Glad you're having fun!

Have you used the old DTS extensively?  Wondering if you're able to provide a comparison to the previous model.

Hi,

I did not have the old DTS.  The new DTS to the old RTS, it is supposedly 25 % more powerful.  That seems about right.  The grip is so much better.
