I love my kapex and ug stand. It's super portable and fast to set up. Here's how I set up mine when doing larger crown. I move the extensions forward which allows me to set up a sacrificial piece of wood as a crown stop. Just always remember to allow the saw to stop before lifting the head of the saw up especially on small pieces , or they will be shooting out at.

thanks dave. at $ 800 I just want to make sure it works and not fall apart or bend

It's pricey but solid.  Really shines at fast, accurate, repeatable cutting.  Great for door parts, face frames or anything else you need a lot of the same measurement.  Tape comes out once and then you fly.  I set it up like Dave for crown, but if you're just doing crown all day you can set up the extensions reversed and use the back lip for a stop in the front.  Little awkward to set up but worth it for an all day set up.

Also keep in mind that the extensions will attach to the MFT/3 and the soon to be released CMS modules. I have them for my Kapex and they are worth more than their weight in gold.
