I found a new use for empty systainers!

Hi everyone! First post and let me start by saying I love Festool. I'm (very) slowly doing a reno on my house (drywall, crown, base etc.). Bought a ETS125 and CT26 for the drywall and a PS300 for coping. Love it all. Such great ergonomics and dust control. Dying to spend more cash on TS55 and MFT3, but waiting for approval from the CFO! She tells me I can put in wainscoting! Might need a Domino!! Kudos to Toolnut by the way. I always used Amazon for everything, but these guys are my go-to's for my German tools since I started going green.

What I also love just as much is how well systainers fit my OCD lifestyle. I bought a bunch of systainers and with a bit of Kaizen Foam, I have my DeWalt drill & driver, Makita circular saw and Fein Multi safely tucked away and totally organized. I even keep my spare lightbulbs in a Sys1 (until I upgrade to LED and don't need spares any more!). Sticker shock held me back for years, but I don't regret it one bit. Awesome stuff..

Anyway.. back to the story. I have a spare Sys2 that I haven't figured a use for but I came up with one now that it's getting colder in the garage..

Sys 2 is perfect to store 16 bottles of your favorite adult beverage!. I might even Kaizen foam it for the heck of it to see how much better it looks! Also.. the boss lady will ignore it as they seem to be blind to tool-boxes and their contents!!

My local woodcraft has had about five of those sitting in the store since they were released. Festool hyped them up, they bought a few then sold none.

Sound like bad marketing.
If they supply them full of beer, they should have no problem moving them on. [tongue]

There are at least 6  "cooltainers" at my favorite lumber yard, they just marked them down from 90 to 80 $ with cooler season gone and all. I had no idea they were limited edition hmmmm, now I really think I should grab one......darn it !! Now I know I should grab one. I knew when I found this state of the art lumber yard complete with its own well stocked festool section it was gonna be trouble ......

I'm just not safe anywhere I go...
