Sorry for tryin' to be nebulous in the subject line; figured it get some interest ;)!Well, this forum is blessed with excellent and dedicated "owners/managers/moderators" - Christian O, Shane H, Pete H, Forrest A, who work tirelessly in maintaining  and directing things here on the FOG. They are the best!  I am also amazed and thankful for the wealth of knowledge shared freely and willingly by Festool users from all around the world. But I must offer a special thanks and shout out to Brice Burrell for taking the time to post day and night with answers and suggestions to so many questions and offering intelligent insights  and detailed information, from a pro's position, to all of us here on the FOG. Is there a member here who can say he hasn't learned much from Brice? I don't think so.
Brice, a huge and well deserved round of applause and an honest "thank you" for all you have given to the FOG.

Bob

Thanks Bob and everyone. In all fairness I'm just one guy helping to make this one of, if not, the best forums on the net. There are a few guys I'd like to thank for all the effort they've put in, just to name a few, Corwin, Dan Clark, Greg Mann, Warner, Alex, Job, Wood_Junkie, Stoolman, Chris Rosenberger, Shane, Forest, Peter, I could go on and on......so [thanks] guys.

Brice,

Well, yes you are only one guy, but the wealth of your knowledge and your willingness to so quickly share that knowledge to any and all who ask is very much appreciated by most of us here. And modest though you are, I would agree that all of the members that you mentioned and more are worthy and helpful members. All of you Brice mentioned are integral parts of the FOG and are the FOG's greatest asset.

Hi all,

This is our 50th anniversary year which we decided to celebrate by traveling.  Hence the lapse in posting.  We enjoyed the beaches in Mexico for the first three months of the year, then did an Alaska cruse (our first cruse and first time to AK) over our actual wedding anniversary, and next week we point our motor coach east towards the Maritime Provinces in eastern Canada.  When we get wet with Atlantic Ocean water we will go some other direction.  Should be back home around mid Sept.  Will get more active after that.  Until then, only an occasional post.  Enjoy the summer!

Hey Jerry,  (Speaking of helpful people ;))

HAPPY 50TH ANNIVERSARY. Glad to hear that  you and your wife have embarked on such a wonderful trip. To say "have fun" would be silly, but I will say it anyhow.
Have fun.

Bob

I just want to echo what everyone has said about Brice.  Here's my personal anecdote:  I emailed Brice on the merits of owning an MFS system.  He emailed me back with some great advice and even  offered to send me his so I could try it out.  I turned down his kind gesture and bought one myself.  But I was so moved by such an offer that someone would do that for someone he's never even met.  [thanks]

Wow! Thanks for sharing.

Bob,

We should thank Brice for what?

His professionalism and skill?  The time he takes out of his day to devote to this Forum?  His sense of humor?  His willingness to help others?  His general unselfishness?  His excellent product reviews?  Heck, no!!!

The thanks should go to us amateurs asking dumb questions and making dopey comments.  We are the ones that make Brice and others like him who post to this Forum look so good.

In all seriousness, I have said it before in other threads, Brice is the greatest (or at least very close).

Neill

There's a serious bromance going on here!

Brice, I bookmarked your site when I was building my first cabinet using the Domino.

Thanks
Richard.
