Just found this pic on ebay.de - it's one of the interchangeable bases for the new PS(B)400 jigsaws:

It's got a big felt pad on the bottom for cutting stuff that gets marked easily - and the felt pads are replaceable with the same hook & loop Stick-fix system as on the sanding disks!

As usual, some of the best ideas are the simplest...

That would come in handy cutting for example plexiglass or lacquered wood.
Surely looks nice, that new jigsaw.

Well, I hope so but I'm not holding my breath. Most people idea of a review is: "It's a nice saw" or "it worked great." Come on guys, let's see some reviews with actual content on these new jigsaws when they come out.
