I ordered my FREE Festool Decals from McFeely's...did you?

Hey Mirko,

Regarding shipping labels to Canada, I'd love to do that but, at this time, that may violate the agreement the Canadian retailers have with Festool. Granted, it's not a sale of any product but that's technically their territory.

Who knows, maybe things will change one day but for now, I'd feel a little uncomfortable with it.

You have my apologies for the inconvenience. I'd be happy to ship these labels to any US address, however.

Ron,

Thanks for the quik reply, I kinda had a feeling that was coming, but no worries.
Just for the record, like many others on the FOG I do not buy my Festools from Canada ::)
Thanks.

Mirko

Oh, I completely understand!  :)

And again, I'd be happy to ship these labels to any address at which you sometimes conduct business in the US. That way, I'm not violating anyone's territory and we're all happy.

I'm all about maximizing happiness.

What about my shiny/dusty friend CT22? It deserves nice white letters on its black side. Also laser engraving on rails would be really nice  :)

Victor, unfortunately our laser engraver is currently broken  :P  I had measured the available space on the CT's and none of them have enough room for our 4" x 5" (101mm x 127mm) decals.  That's why we don't offer the option for them.  Sorry.  Maybe in the future we'll have the ability to do some other sizes.

This is what I should have ordered.

Very Cool!

Now that is advertising!

Most of my "wants" happen on the job and I don't have a phone number for other dealers. Now McFeely's will be on top.

Thanks much,

Warren Allen

The decals arrived minutes ago nicely packaged and they look super cool ... thank you McFeely's.

There is one place for label, but it needs minor alteration (less than 3/8" on the right side) or slight bending over the curved edge. I'm fine with scissor alteration.  :)
Also what about labels for some systamers with cleaning/rail/other accessory kits?

Victor, I'll go take a look at the CT space again.  It's been a while since I measured the available space but I didn't think it was even close to fitting.  As for other systainers, we may consider offering those in the future.  To be honest, we have been busy just getting the power tool systainer decals made and mailed to everyone.  :)

PS - I'm still waiting to see some photos!  Somebody post some pics when you have time.

Thank you McFeely's and Shane. This is a very nice gesture on your part. I couldn't quite come up with the perfect bon mot in time so mine say:

All hail his royal highness,

Greg Bohnstedt

King of the Wood Butchers.

Well done, Greg.  Wood Butchers, I like it.  I must say there has been some "interesting" things folks have put on their decals  ;D

Here you go.  Not quite as sexy as the Domino but this one was flawless.

Boy, I had one of those head smacking, "could of had a V8" moments today;  I had simply entered my name with the default text.  Should have replaced text with my father's favorite expression:

I don't know how may times I heard this as a kid.

Just curious, but how long does it normally take for these decals to be sent out? I ordered mine on 3/6.

Lou,

We ran out of decals and mailing envelopes due to an overwhelming response to the offer.  We got additional mailing envelopes last Thursday and everything received through last Wednesday has been mailed.  I am still waiting on additional decals which should be here today.  I looked and did not see your request in the list of pending requests that need to be sent.  So, it should be on its way via the US Mail.  To be honest, I'm surprised you haven't already received them since you are in PA.

For those folks that submitted their request on or after 3/8 (last Thursday), please be accept our apologies but they should be going out today.

Shane

Thanks for the response Shane.

I dunno what to say about not getting them yet, other than I haven't. No biggie though, I was just curious. If they come, they come, if not, oh well...

Just a follow up from earlier, everyone's decals have been mailed now.  We had ran out of decals but got more in today.

If you want decals and haven't entered your request, do so soon.  As we grow closer to the end of the month our attention will be focused on decals for our customers who pre-ordered the Domino and other Festool tool orders placed by McFeely's customers.  Here's a link if you need it:

Lou, there's no way I can track yours since they are being sent US Mail.  If you don't get them in the next few days send me a PM and we'll definitely send them again.

Shane, I appreciate it, but don't bother. Its not a big deal, don't go to any trouble over it. Like I said, if they show up, that's great. If not, so what...
