Houston area. Anyone looking to sell a sawhelper within reasonable driving distance, please contact me.

Good luck. I have been offered more than what I paid for mine. The last one I saw for sale was in Seattle, and it went for $500.00 (2 8's)

Monju - You just have to keep looking on Craigslist.  I have been searching for a year and all of a sudden one popped up a few weeks ago in Maine (I live in Mass).  He had a newer complete setup with 8' and 5' wing, 2 sets of couplers, flip stop and 2 saw bases for $250!!  I scooped it up as soon as I saw the add.

Regards - Fred

Is there a way to search craigs list nationwide all at once?  So you don't have to repeat the search in each city individually.

Wayne - I always typed "Sawhelper Craigslist" into my Google search and it will come up with most of them country wide.

There are several search engines that will allow you to search Craigslist nationwide.  Search Tempest is probably the most well-known.

Keep in mind that Craigslist was never intended to rival eBay.  Sellers may only want to deal locally, and not ship merchandise.

CL makes for fun road trips. [big grin]

Ditto,  thanks for the tips I'll try it both ways.  For some Items like the sawhelper a road trip is gonna be likely.  I almost called on the one near me knowing there are lots of people who want one.  But I didn't have the extra cash to make an offer...and I know they ain't cheap.  I originally wanted saw helper but settled for a home built stationary set up.  Since I'm not mobile I'm glad I did it this way now.
