I wonder how the wood you're using was processed?

Almost all of us who uses wood for any sort of project relies on someone else to at least reduce it from log form before it touches our tools.  May we get it in a fully dimensioned size or rough cut, it still has been reduced in a sawmill of some sort.  Thought that you might enjoy a link from Tools of the Trade showing some different sawmill examples that span the gamut of technology.  I found that the audio levels varied greatly, but then that might just be my ears.

Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy:  http://www.toolsofthetrade.net/lumber/three-old-school-sawmills_o.aspx

And here is another part of that:  http://www.toolsofthetrade.net/lumber/a-trip-to-the-lumber-mill_o.aspx
