I have a CXS but still love my C12 and its attachments. What i don’t like is that the old style systainer it comes in will not stack on any of my other many newer systainers. And the insert doesn’t appear to be easily modified to fit the dimensions of the newer ones, so that doesn’t work. If they made it, I’d by an insert or a complete systainer with insert. Hmmm, anyone done Kaizen for the C12 set in a newer systainer?

Why is it not possible to modify the old insert for the new systainer? Isn't it just a few cuts on the edges?
There is a T-Loc insert for the newer C12 Li, part No. 700895, maybe that one fits your older C12 (NiCd I presume)?
But you can be sure Festool will never produce anything new for a tool they've discontinued.
