I'm new here and not as great of pics as Per but I do do a few things around the shop

Per and Mirko, I'm in awe of your works (and suddenly feeling waves of inadequacy). I hope to someday have a small fraction of your skills. Great job!
Tour, I really like your island. I'm forever dealing with scraps and waste. Somehow they seem to find their way to the floor between the island and the trash. The built-in waste drop is just the thing I need.

Unbelievable! Your work is so amazing just looking at the photos makes me feel like I'm there.
Per, please post the "before" photos, as Dan suggested. Your photos are already enough to make 95% of us feel hopelessly amateurish next to you, so why not add a bit more to make sure the remaining 5% also understand! Too bad you did this project before the Domino was available.
Mirko, you can post larger photos if you want. I'd love to see those projects more up close. I can't imagine being able to do work like yours. It must feel great to accomplish a project like that. It must also feel great that there are clients out there who understand the value of your kind of work.
By the way, I think both of you should have folders in the Gallery. That way, you can drop photos of your work in any time you want, and we can refer people to your collections.

Matt, you are right on the mark about having Per and Mirko post to the Gallery these beautiful examples of what is possible. Along with Jerry and a few others around here. They continue to serve as inspiration to the rest of us and stellar examples of what is possible within the Festool range. I also think we need to remember that Per is part of a two man team. He reminds us often that Bob is integral to his success. I like to kid Per about Bob doing all the real work but it is clear that they are both great at what they do.

Hey, Mirko, fantastic work!!! If you don't mind telling us, in round figures, how much did you charge the owner for 14 months of your life? It had better have been well into six figures and then some for that quality of work. We have a close friend who built a 9000 sq ft house in Breckenridge a couple of years ago and the cabinets were $240k.

I shouldn't really say how much I made on that job, but I will say, the answer is in your question
I will try and put pics in the gallery, but I will like to keep it low key.
There are a ton of privacy issues surrounding these type of jobs.

I followed in my fathers footsteps and i've been around woodworking my whole life, but hav'nt been able to get along and work with my Pop.
Have you guys always worked well together or did there come a time when things changed?

Slightly off-topic, but it seems that there are two of us on the board with almost identical names (except for the space).

First let me say I love Festool! Now I bought a ATF 55 a few years ago then I picked up the new TS 55. They let me do some things that would have been much harder or took me a lot longer. I love them and I am never with out one or the other. Now on site I might give up a table saw, might. In the shop? No way. Space aside how many people would really give up a table say for a Festool saw? Sure it can do many things a table saw can. How about tenons, dovetails, dados, pattern cutting? Need to cut 25 buttons for a table top? Who wants to rip 4/4 ebony with a TS55? Not me. Now I know space is a issue for some people and I would much rather be able to work in a small shop then not work at all. But if you had a choice and space and money was not a issue who would give up a table saw over a TS55/75 in a shop?

Nuff said on that. I appreciate your position. Whatever it was, it probably wasn't enough. I built fences to earn $$$ to get through college and I probably never did charge what I should have even for those simple projects. You are more of an artist as well as craftsman so more power to you. Beautiful work. Keep posting pics!

Per and Mirko,
I'm just amazed in not only your quality but your creativity. I look at what you accomplish knowing you are using basically the same tools that I have, but at a level waaay beyond what I'll ever hope to achieve. I'm sure you're all very proud and your customers are definitely getting a big bang for their bucks.

We fight worse then the Father/Son team on Orange County Choppers.
And I play the role as Father/Owner.
How it is, he is 82 and needs to work.
I can prolly get another 20 years of indentured servitude out of him.
And by that time my son should be sufficiently trained. :

All right we get along like newly weds , always have.
I just wouldn't know any other way.
