Just something I saw in a banner ad at the top of the JLC website.  I hadn't seen or heard of this before.  I just pulled mine out and mine is not the right model.  You might want to check yours.  The following link is not the link that was on the JLC site but rather one I found while searching.

I have that model and sent it in about 18 months ago for the fix. Hitachi got it back to me within 7-10 days IIRC.
