I bought several of these (USA made) trays for about $3 each a couple of weeks ago.  I won't say that one of these trays makes finding the right nut / screw /bolt / whatever fun, but it does make it a lot easier and faster.

I have a few trays in the garage for that purpose, makes a lot of sense to add the pour spout.

I've tried things like baking sheets, paint trays, cake pans, metal biscuit times in the past, but this is much better. The size is right and the spout is purpose built.

FYI.  I was just in my local Harbor Freight Tools and saw (and bought) what looked like the identical item.  Sold singly for $3.

About seven years ago I solved that problem by sorting everything, and keeping it that way.  Now if I have a few nuts, screws or whatever  that I will save I put them in a compartment. This has saved me a good many trips to the hardware store, and a ton of time not searching.

I think that spout tray should be handy even for just returning unused portions (even sorted stuff) to the container or compartment.  Have to track one down.
