I can't seem to find any dealers that have the replacement strip for imperial units vs metric.
Can someone give a hint of where I might find one of these

Thanks, Marcus

The OP didn't specify whether he had the TS 55 EQ versus TS 55 REQ. Does the imperial gauge even exist for the TS 55 EQ?

No, not from Festool.

I called and found out that I should have received one in the manual for the saw. I didn't really look much past the first couple of pages, cause the print was too small, so I hit the net to read the manual. I will be checking when I get home today.

I have the REQ.

I haven't even used it yet and I have had it a week and a half now. I have been watching videos and finishing a project in progress. I am now done, so on to the next project that will have a need for the TS-55

It could also be in between the systainer and the case insert. I remember opening my new TS 55 REQ last year and noticed it sticking along the side (back side out) and if it had not been standing straight up and down I would have missed it. So i would look in the manual and also remove the case insert to make sure it didn't fall between the wall. I never installed mine as I prefer metric when possible.

My imperial scale was in the manual.  And that's where I left it, but secured it with a piece of tape in the event it is ever needed, although I'll likely never use it.  I think the markings are not well delineated at 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4, and it would have been nice to have numbers at the major fraction marks, and not jsut at the inch marks.

I decided to stick with metric.  It is easy to read.  I have as many metric rulers as imperial, and I have a tape measure with both, so it just made sense to me to use metric for setting depth. I do use both measurement systems, and have both metric and imperial Woodpecker rulers I use to set my Seneca Parallel Guides.

I love the TS 55 REQ, but the imperial stick-on scale is pretty marginal, and not what I would have expected from Festool.

I found it nestled in the back of the manual. I also use both units of measure, so I have not decided which to use as of yet, since I haven't even used the saw yet.
