To all my most valued customers and friends,

I'm writing this letter to announce my retirement as a Festool dealer, effective next Monday February 11. It has truly been a pleasure dealing and speaking with each and every one of you for the last so many years. Simple words cannot express the deep gratitude I owe to all of you. But it's time to "pass that baton" onto another longstanding and highly respected Festool dealer - Beaver Industrial Supply (BIS).

I can promise you that if you have been satisfied with the service that I have provided you, you will receive that same or better, service from BIS. You can reach them through their websites www.festools-online.com or www.beavertools.com or by phone at that familiar number 866-FESTOOL.

Beaver Industrial Supply is centrally located in St. Louis, MO. They have a huge inventory, both wide and deep, for all Festool products, so it's rare day when an item is on back order. I've met the staff - they are friendly, Festool factory trained and helpful, and by the way, the owner, John has been selling Festool tools for as long as I have!

Beaver also offers Free (no minimum) Same Day shipping and either a Free Festool T-Shirt or Festool Cap with each tool ordered!

All orders placed on or before February 10, will be shipped from my Tennessee warehouse, back orders will be dropped shipped to you by Festool. I will around and easily contacted by phone or email. No worries there.

So again, thank you all your support throughout the years.

Bob- Congratulations on your retirement. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors.

Ron

Bob,
Thanks for being a great supplier and for answering my Festool questions!  Best Wishes to you!

Regards,
Gerald

May you have good fortune going forward and thanks for putting your customer's needs first.

Waho
All the Best

I've known Bob now for almost 15 years, as a friendly competitor, a partner of Festool when I worked there, but mostly as a personal friend. Bob has had an immeasurable impact on the success of Festool in the USA as one of its earliest dealers. He's been a great contributor here on the forum and formed his own cult following and earned the moniker of "Uncle Bob".

Sorry to see you step away from Festool, Bob. Best wishes for you as you move on to new things. You'll be equally as great at whatever you do next, no doubt.  [not worthy]

Your buddy,
Shane

Best wishes to you in retirement, Bob.

Will you eventually retire your website also or will your name be everlasting like Colonel Sanders?

I actually asked a similar question to Paul Prudhomme about 25 years ago and at that time he intended that his likeness be removed from his products after his death. A Google search indicates that he must have changed his mind.

Congratulations, Bob!

I’ve enjoyed spending my money with you over the years! I hope you will still be active on the FOG and that you have a wonderful retirement!!

Daniel

Bought my first C-12 many years ago and last C22 wet container(last week)with many other purchases in between from Bob, a class act and a stellar example of how to run a business and provide great customer service. Thanks Bob. Enjoy your retirement, you deserve it.
