I am surprised to read of your problem with the Incra mitre gauge bar. I have Incra's most basic model (V 27) and was able to adjust the bar to fit snugly in the slots of my table saw. I did have to put a single thickness of masking tape between my the wooden fence I added and the metal stamping since there is no way on the model I have to adjust the head relative to the notches or index scale.
