Hey!

Today I assembled my INCRA iBox and followed each step as shown in the instructions video.

I use my iBox on my router table.

My problem is that the "fingers" are too thick.

Im using a 10mm router bit. I adjusted the pins by holding the red knob and spinning the silver wheel counterclockwise (righty tighty, lefty loosy). I adjusted the pins seven thousands of an inch and the fingers are still to thick. I could obviously keep counterspinning the silver wheely but clearly Im doing something wrong so before I spin the wheel to infinity Id like to know if there is somebody out there that maybe knows what Im doing wrong?

Ive set my iBox 9/16 as instructed, then INCRA says I should spin the knob 1/8 clockwise... At this point I just eyeballed 1/8.. Could it be this? I won't be able to go to my shop for several days now so I won't be able to test more...  :'(

Thank you in advance for any advice or tips and goodnight..

Did you buy the Incra jig from the Incra site or from a retailer?  Either way, though, calling the Incra direct support number or emailing their support address. Mark from Incra has been a great resource for me. I noticed you are in Sweden so I don't know if my the calling suggestion will work for you or not but email them. They have not failed to provide an answer for me.

I bought it from a retailer.

I did mail Mark just now.. hope to hear from him soon..

Any ideas what I could be doing wrong since my fingers are too thick? Im guessing the "holes" impossibly could be too narrow since they are cut by the router bit..

They have a video or two on the iBox page you might want to check out: http://www.incra.com/product_rtf_ibox.html

I have not used mine in a while but if I remember correctly you use the silver knob to position the spacers next to the cutter.  Once you have made the first cut you use the red knob to move the spacers away from each other until they match the size of the cut.  Sorry if that is wrong, I have not pulled it out recently.  Took me about an hour or two to figure it out when I used it the first time but once I figured it out the results were consistent and good.
