Hi

I am looking to get an incra ls-ts router and table saw combo.  I have a very nice router but want to make sure I can source a table saw that will fit with the minimum of hassle.  And it has to be portable.  Anybody have any ideas if something like a dewalt 745 will fit.  Or another jobsite saw. Just has to be decent quality.  Also UK please.

Thanks in advance.

I have the Incra TSIII system on my 35 year old Delta Contractor's Saw with a CI router table extension and it's a great system.  This charts off Incra's website shows compatibility with various saw types:

By the way the Incra website shows ~6 month lead time for delivery on these.

Thanks very much. That’s what I see as well. Lots of detail on older saws but can’t figure it out for newer models.

The Incra fence system is all about no compromise accuracy and repeatability, when you look at the cost and size of the fence it seems ill matched to a typical jobsite saw.  The fence system is quite substantial and would certainly substantially compromise the portability of a jobsite saw.  I bought my fence used about 10 years ago for a bit less than half of the retail price.  If you could find a used one the savings could buy a solid classic Delta Unisaw or similar that, with a little TLC could provide a tool much better matched to the capabilities of the Incra fence system.

The TS is a pretty big unit- but if the saw you are looking at has a flat front edge, you should be able to bolt it on somehow.  There are some good youtube videos showing the assembly process so you can see what you are in for.  One of the smaller units coupled to the saws existing fence might be a more elegant solution- Stumpy Nubs did that:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKIcdQT06L8
