Insert Organizer for SYS3 M 137

I recently ordered another CXS from Recon and this one comes with a "Systainer SYS3 M 137". I'd like to repurpose it for holding small parts as I did with the T-Loc Systainer that came with my first CXS. It was easy to find inserts for the T-Loc but I'm unsure what sets fit the Sys3 M.

Festool has this Container Set on their site but it mentions "For SYS-COMBI 2, SYS-COMBI 3 and SYS 4 TL-SORT/3" which I don't think is the same.

Can someone point me to a similar organizer kit that will fit the Sys3 M 137?

Got it. So for the Sys3 M, there's no pre-sized kit unless you also want an L Systainer, otherwise the bins need to be purchased individually. Is that how it works?

hi, yes seems most are in packs plan according . btw i love the handle for support when getting something out when it's in the middle of the stack

I'm not sure those bins will work with the regular M series Systainers. It looks like they require a Lego-style grid on the bottom/lid to keep them secure. I also think the M 137 might be tool tall.

I've only see the bins shown with the Systainer Organizer M 89. I can't find anything that shows them with non-organizer Systainers.

You are right.  The bins in the link provided work with the Systainer3 Organizers.  There isn't a similar Systainer3 insert like what you linked to for the T-Loc. 

So, I can share some other possible inserts.

Of course these is foam, if you have another tool you want to fit in.

Insert for 125mm abrasives
Insert for 150mm abrasives
Universal Insert
Drill insert

Thanks for the reply. That's a bummer. The universal insert would be the closest to what I am looking for, but it's not really ideal. I'll see if I can come up with a DIY solution instead. Thanks again!

I noticed the Domino Connector Kit comes in a Systainer M 137 and includes dividers for the parts.

I wonder if it's possible to order these dividers? I'll have to look through the ecat and see if I can find them.

The dividers in that one are actually in three long bins.

Beyond the insert, it looks like the EPP foam lid is unique for this application as well.

They are a set of bins that are removable. Originally for the T-Loc. Not sure if they are the same or different for the Gen3. T-Loc Domino assortment came in them too. They fit a Sys -II (originally) and could be double stacked in a Sys - IV. Each long bin has adjustable dividers.

Also the T-Loc for Domino 700 had a stack beside the tool in the Systainer.

The DF 700 I got has some bins in it for the dominoes it came with. One is taller than the other but can you buy just those bins? The short one might work for you if you can.

The D8 connector set was sold in Systainer T-Loc 1, definitely not a 2. The Domino assortment systainer was a 2, but has higher bins. Both sets got upscaled with 25 and 22.5mm of wasted space to please the Bott-god. That is also why I bought one of each without really needing them directly so I dont have to store nearly 50mm of wasted space when I eventually do need them.

I think I recently saw the insert with the colored boxes in a Sys3 M137, but can't find it anymore. Seems like a waste of space anyway with a super fat lid insert. The space-wasting seems to be the central theme of Sys3 in general.

The earlier Domino Assortment Systainers in T-Loc 2 were sold with a fixed plywood 6-fold divider. Even after the 4mm came out. The total Domino content got reduced when they introduced the removable bins.

I've taken out one bin of the left assortment Systainer to show besides the Systainer T-Loc 1 containing the lower bins with the D8 connectors.

The same items in their current incarnation would be; 2x Festool 576794 and 1x Festool 576797. The DF 500 machine itself also got upsized a Systainer, so those 4 boxes together would amount to 3*(187-(157.5+7))+137-(105+7) = 92.5mm increased stack height!

I recently calculated that I have about 7 meters of stack height in Systainers. Luckily that is mostly in 2nd gen T-loc... or it would have been 8 meters...

Got the M 137 today and tried to fit my multi-colored bins into it. With some minor cutting to fit around the new bits in the Sys3, it should work, although as you mentioned, additional foam needs to be added to the lid to secure the bins and prevent parts from falling out.

Anyhow, at least it's an option if I can't figure out another use for it. Cheers!

cool, thanks. I was messing around in autocad today on some inserts for some systainers. First one I need to rework is the ETS EC. tons of wasted space in there after I that I was thinking about some small part bins.
