inserting photos

hey guys i had a  go at attaching some images earlier today to no avail everytime i tried i had them ready to go and then when i press post it goes to a blank screen then nothing happens at all any help greatly appreciated

I had the same issue today, and Peter was helping me fix it. In the end, I resized the photo to under 500kb and it worked.

I can't answer the odd situation.

In trying to help Richard out, because I thought that there might be an issue with file size, I posted a reply that had three files inserted full size - their sizes were 495kb, 516kb, 603kb.  The image he was trying to upload was 500 kb.

He couldn't get his to work.  I got mine to post all three.

Reducing file sizes down below 125 kb is usually fine for the web and most people will never notice the difference.

You may want to try that.

What photo editing software do you have access to?

Irfanview is a good Windows-based freeware image viewer with basic editing and resizing capabilities.  There are also numerous website that will allow you to upload and resize images free of charge.
