Anytime I assemble a customers cabinet I use the Festools accessory kit, not sure of the proper name, and it
saves me every time.  It's a great kit to have.

That is indeed a nice kit. They must have been some kind of limited edition though, I have never seen one for sale.
It's much like the clamping elements set I bought about 5 years ago. It consists of the MFT clamping elements, a pair of low-profile dogs, a pair of the lever type track clamps, etc. All in a Systainer, that I have never seen for sale, before or since. It wasn't promoted as anything special, I just thought it was a new item. Turns out, maybe not?
It seems like they produce these "sets" in different configurations, once in a while, but don't continue them as a stocking item. They sell them out, and they're gone, but not really promoted as "limited edition"

Hi, still available on amazon

That aint it

I disagree.  Just looks like there's a Fastfix chuck and an eyebolt driver sitting in with the rest of the kit.  I found that same kit available for "just a little bit less" than the Amazon, (USA), price at $167.57 from Mister Worker. Who ships "Worldwide", other than the US and Canada.

Maybe our friends down in Australia might be able to get a better price on it than us in North America, as Mister Worker has a far-east branch in Bangkok.

Pictured in topic start is Festool # 497881, currently superseded by Festool # 578112
From what I can see in a few seconds only the Systainer got changed.

The larger bitsets used to be limited editions. Later on they became permanent. The curent large iteration is a Sys3 Org

The MFT clamp set (Festool # 201311) was initially also released as a limited edition and later became permanent. It got superseded by the # 577131  which changed out the MFT clamping elements for a different type.

I think they did communicate it as limited edition. I think the MFT clamp set had been released twice as limited set before coming permanent. I got one at the first run, I think. If you leave out the 2nd set of knobs, another set of MFT clamping elements fits inside too.

The original set, in the original style systainer, was a standard item for many years down here in Aus. It did disappear abruptly and wasn't seen again, though. From memory, it had a lot more in it, than the new version.

After all of those details, it appears that I already have that covered, though not in that more compact version. I got one of the big, limited edition socket sets, when they first came out. Then there is the set in one of the Org Systainers, with all of the driver tips as 100mm, along with the ratcheting wrenches, etc. Even at that, I don't have the cup hook driver.....but never needed one either [wink]
