Hi Everyone

I have just made a stand alone video showing how to install the Bluetooth module for the CT26/36/48 range of extractors. I know the procedure is relatively basic but I have had several requests to show how to go about it. Some of the questions from viewers are quite interesting...

Does anyone know if a single start/stop button can be used with more than one extractor or if several start/stop buttons can be used with a single extractor?

I have already established that multiple extractors with Bluetooth kit can work without interfering with each other.

Here is my video:

Bluetooth triggers (batteries and buttons) are a many-to-one relationship to the receiver module.

That is, multiple buttons/batteries can be paired to a single CT module (the CT26/36/48 module or a CT MIDI-I / MINI-I), but a button or battery can only be paired to one receiver module at a time.

There is a limit to the number of buttons you can pair to a single module; I believe it's 5.  There is a limit of one paired battery at a time.

The most mind-blowing tip I received was in one of Sedge's Festool Live videos: if you have a remote button paired to a CT, hit the small button (not the on-off MAN trigger) on the button and then fire up a BT-Battery device, and it will pair that battery without having to press the pairing button on the CT itself.

Many thanks for that additional information - very helpful.
