As some of you know, I have been taken a couple of very simple videos of  Festool products in the last little while.
I noticed that those videos are getting about 50 hits a day...
Therefore, I was wondering if there is maybe a need for more videos?
Again, I'm only a woodworker and not a camera man... means my videos will not be of very high quality. But I thought as I have a fair collection of those tools and I'm using them on a daily bases anyway, I could just set up the camera beside me and see what I can get...

Let me know how you feel about that and maybe ask for a specific topic if the need arises.

Cheers,
Andreas

i think its a great idea andreas and i plan on doing something similar after i buy my first house here on the gold coast. i intend on taking as much footage as possible renovating the house with a combination of  time lapse and video.
i guess this means we need to buy some extra batteries for the camera!

good luck and keep up the good work!

regards, justin.

Andreas,

I would love to see more videos. Especially seeing Festools being used in 'non-standard' ways.

For example, Brices video using a router horizontally to trim nosing. To me, that was a non-standard application of a router. I have never seen that done with any other brand and had often wished it could be done. Now I know it can and how to go about it. ( [thanks] Brice )

It is those kinds of videos that have the most value to me.

Andreas, I think that is a great idea. I really enjoy your videos, while they are simple, they show how you and the tools work very well together. I can't wait to see more of your videos. And you German accent is cool!

[thumbs up]

Andreas I like it.  And I would like to see more.  Please keep videoing your different tools and techniques.  Dont know if close ups are possible (given that you are probably doing this from a tripod).

I may be a little late to this party (I've been off doing other things for a bit), but I would love to see more, many more, videos.

Thanks.

No new videos from my site any time soon... I had to shut down my shop and are starting to work for paycheques again in a couple of weeks!
