Hello,
I've been reading here for quite a while and registered early this year. I've obtained loads of useful information from reading here (thanks for that) and thought I should introduce myself before I started posting. I started woodworking three years ago and retired two years ago. I've had a woodmizer for about 15 years and have made a lot of lumber. I built a 28 x 36 garage to store dried lumber. About this time I became interested in hand planes. I acquired a couple of Lie Nielsen's and moved my 30 year old craftsman from the basement, put in heat, and discovered shop time. I had a lot of pine so decided to finish the inside of the garage in v-groove. I bought a CT48 and an RO150 to finish smooth the pine and was hooked. Over the last two years I've added:
Boom arm
MFT/3, clamps, qwas dogs
Workshop Cleaning Set
DTS 400
TS 75
OF 2200
Domino DF 500
Domino DF 700
SysLite
Guide rails 1400, 1900, and 3000
I'm probably one of the worlds slowest woodworkers but it seems that every time I get to feeling confidant I find new and improved ways of committing faux pas so I find it best to just plod along. OK so now I feel like I can post without feeling rude.
Regards,
Charlie
