If you do a search on this site about jigsaws there's quite a number of threads where the guys detail what they like and dislike about both models. The Trion is older, heavier and does not have a light - but what it does well is track straight and true - especially when using Festool blades (which evidently are thicker than other brands so more resistive to deflection).
The Carvex is the new(er) hotness. Strobe lights (that I really like) and more accessories to tailor the saw to your situation, but the big gripe is that it has a tracking issue that people have solved with fixes - but that can negate your warranty since you're taking it apart and making mods. The Carvex dust collection tube also likes to pop out rather readily, and on the PSB 420 I'm borrowing from a friend (who utterly hates this jigsaw), I find the variable trigger to just be unreliable. Either it works or it doesn't. A lot of times, it just doesn't and I'll use the side mounted switch (so goodbye trigger-based variable saw speed).
And while I've got my friends Carvex in the shop, a few months ago, I bought the PS 300 barrel grip Trion and I use that quite frequently and tend to prefer it over the Carvex - though I have not seen the blade tracking issues on this particular Carvex, but I also don't use it much at all.
Of course, other users here report no issues and love their Carvex, so it doesn't seem to be a consistent issue. Since you already have the Trion, I suggest keeping it and using it to see if it meets your needs. Do make sure to get the Festool blades. Like everything Festool, they cost more than other brands but they are very solid in quality.
