Is this blade suitable for SawStop PCS?

My understanding is that SawStop does not recommend blades with shoulders like this one.
Bob
Makes sense. It will tend to cut through the break shoe rather than dig into it.

Thank you both.

In that case, I'll go for  freud 24t ripping blade
... sold for $85 Cdn at a local store.

I already have the WWII x 2 different teeth config and SS Titanium. I need a 24t to rip 3" thick stock (the WWII 30t struggles now and then on that because mine is a 1.75HP PCS).

Update: Freud 24t is also not suitable because of the "hump."

Honestly. I would recommend you just reach out to Sawstop directly there customer service is really top notch and they will look at the exact item you are questioning to ensure your safety of the machine and you. Just food for thought and if anything they will explain the key elements of why these won't or will work. Its really just free safety advice when calling them to avoid any wasteful purchases or blades and brakes being destroyed.

You would wanna run a thin kerf style cutting blade as it will work a lot easier to your application. An the Trent Davis advice is very solid information about the Blades. But it doesn't hurt to just gain more knowledge from the manufacturer and its well free.

My friend runs a 10” Guhdo 24T thin kerf rip blade on his Saw Stop. It runs great.
