Is this made by Festool?

This is not made by Festool, but it's the other way around. This is made by the German company Kr?nzle that makes the CT vacs for Festool.

Edit: Ok, that'll be Kranzle with two dots on the a instead of Kr?nzle. This board still can't handle such characters.  ::)

@ Alex, you can use the alternative spelling of umlauts, ae, oe and ue. Before they introduced the extended ASCII table, this was the way to spell it, even in Germany.

The Kranzles don't have a socket with automatic starting mechanism on them though.

That is the problem with many other vacs, you have to hunt to find ones with auto on features.

Most company's offer two lines, one with and one's without.  Alto is this way as well.

The CT dust extractors were developed by TTS (the parent company of Festool) and Kraenzle Cleantec and are manufactured by Kraenzle Cleantec. Since
2008 Kraenzle Cleantec is fully owned by TTS and renamed in TTS Cleantec. Kraenzle itself remains an independent company, developing, manufacturing
and selling high pressure cleaners and sweepers.

Really? Didn't know that. Anyway, my alternative spelling is simply "a".

It's just that I'm so used to using 'special' characters on the net or computers that it's so weird to see a question mark here on this board every time.
