Is this will be sold in US -- >> KRS-BAG & FS-BAG-PA

The CMS is way high on my list of things to get! I will wait till the coming spring to see if we will be getting it in North america. If not, I will get myself the bits and pieces directly from Germany.... Maybe even ebay...

As for the UL: Someone told me that the process of approval could be made less costly and less time intense if the officer in charge, is brought to the manufacturing facility it self where he can talk to the developers and have a look at the pieces without touching a screw driver? I'm not sure if I got the facts straight here, but it was somewhere along those lines.

The saw blade bag is great.... Not sure if I would pay the price for the rail bag... $190 in the states will mean $250 in Canada....

By the way the exchange rate between Canada and the US is currently changing, by the time the bag gets here it will cost less than $190 in Canadaian dollars.  [unsure]

You are correct. But so far we are still paying way more.... I understand that old stock was payed for with the higher exchange rate, but new stock should be adjusted. Especially for big items like the Kapex I just bought.

Ok cancel the blade bag.

[thumbs up] to the big rail bag.  The one available now to us only holds 2 rails and is almost 100 bucks.

That big rail bag is a winner, I could put alot of my mft/3 fixing's in there.

I like the big rail bag too, I'd also like to see the new 1400 mm rail and stops for the hole drilling system. I assume the new 150 mm sanding pads are a given, any ETA on them?

Brice, if you're referring to the new Multi-Jetstream pads and abrasives then yes.  We will be getting them.  I believe some time mid-2010.

Yes, that's what I meant, thanks Shane.

Hmmm... Not exactly an overwhelming response.  [unsure] Anyone else want to provide some feedback on the guide rail bag after having an idea about the probable price range?

Shane,

I would like to see the forstner bit set, belt sander, automotive polishing compounds.

My problem with the rail bag, and this was the problem with the last one, is that is only holds the 55" length.  Those of us with a TS75 have little use for the 55" rail, or if we do own one, we also have to have the longer one.  If they only made the bag a few inches longer to fit the TS75 rail, I would be all over it.  Seem like there are a few areas where Festool defaults to the TS55, when with a slight modification it could appeal to the entire purchasing base.  Price seems alright though.

I would like to see here:
Sanding blocks with vacuum attachment, belt sanders, polishing compounds, wire brush for RAS-115, CTL-55, Diamond and Granat abrasives.  CMS + inserts. RS-200 RS-100. and some discounts for bulk purchases. More package deals.

Speaking of sanding blocks with vacuum attachment ... I have developed the concept for just that tool. I will hopefully be fabricating this weekend and will post pics when the tool is complete.
I typically create more dust using the sanding block to finish off tight spots than I do using the ets 125 for the whole surface.

So what will be the average price for the CMS System, rail bag and saw bag.

Thanks

Moataz

There was another thread where members discussed the CMS, including possible pricing.  The pricing listed in that thread was simply speculation by members based on the pricing for the CMS and its accessories in other countries.  No official pricing has been determined for the US market.

And, I had posted earlier in this thread the probable price for the rail and blade bags.

The CMS base unit in the UK is  385.00 GBP inc Vat at 15%(sales tax)
                                    3-VL    325.00 GBP inc Vat
Mounting insert for TS75          265.00 GBP inc Vat
Mounting insert fot TS55          256.00 GBP inc Vat
Router Table For all routers      409.00 GBP inc Vat
Jig saw insert                          139.00 GBP inc Vat

These items are not looked on as "Festool Tools" here and some discounts in cash or goods can be negotiated, if you have a good relationship with your dealer. I have bought all my Festool kit from one dealer and we normaly work some thing out. (never on tools though).

Dane, I'd also like to see a rail bag to fit the 1900 mm rail. Edit, Assuming it also held other rails as well.

I don't have a need for the rail bag as I have rails hanging on the wall... But the saw bag would be really attractive! Will it be big enough for the Kapex blades?
