ISO - plans for a mft style work surface with drawer

The ratchet type version of the Festool std rail clamps. It drove me up the wall getting the clamps in "just the exact right" position to get them in the holes. Some larger holes around the board are incredibly handy. I also put a large hole dead centre so I can use the really large F clamps for bigger projects.
My workbench is 1.5" (37mm, I think) and I've been using these Bessey clamps in lieu of the Festool ratcheting clamps. They've been working quite well.

Hi Mike,

Are you able to supply us with a file of the routing template that you created to cut the slots in the 8020 extrusion to provide access for clamps?

Thanks,

Cam

Hi Cam,

I have the SketchUp 2017 file for the routing template, but the SKP file is not one of the formats allowed for upload here. I replied to your private message.

I bought a bunch of the same type off Banggood, but tend to not use them much as I tend to really tighten things down and found they would bell-mouth the edge of the holes.

I have the all steel versions though that work great in my metal welding table! ;-)
