Has anyone with one of the new CT Midi I'd noticed that they cannot open the hose garage with another systainer attached?

With the T-Lock in the open/attached to the systainer above position that garage door does not open all the way.

I am wondering if this is a common issue or just with my unit. Thanks in advance. (I would post a photo but my file size is too large, sorry)

I haven't tried it, but I doubt anything is wrong with your unit.  I don't think their intention was to lift the garage lid up with tools attached.  The hinges on the lid probably weren't designed for the weight of a tool sitting on top while it was lifted (imagine a SYS4 with a TS55 inside).  But I haven't looked at the hinge construction carefully or even tried to leave a systainer latched to the top of the lid.

I believe you are correct. It just seems lik an odd design, to have the T-Lock with half of the functionality.

Maybe, but the other issue it creates is a tipping problem.  Maybe it doesn't tip with a substantially full bag, but with a fresh clean bag your little CXS systainer might bring the whole thing over onto it's side?  The midi would already have a high center of gravity with an empty bag, now cantilever a tool over the side and ....  In my mind my paws only go in there once when setting up (pull out cord and hose) and once again when packing up (stow cord and hose).  Otherwise, I'm not really stashing things under that lid that I need to access routinely (well, not with systainers parked on top).
