This is a little cord organizer I built. The top opens up to allow a power strip with wall warts, the four little slots and holes are for pulling up the plugs for our cell phones and AA battery charger, the lower shelf is for chargers for the C12 and my digital SLR.

The whole thing was built from scrap bits, the legs are oak that wasn't quite rectangular stock that was pulled from a friend's discard bin, the tapers were cut with a TS55 and rounded with an OF1010. The top and shelf are cheap birch ply edged with birch, ripped to edging strips with the aforementioned circular saw. The sides are poplar. Biscuit joined, but I'm keeping my finger's crossed for Friday's Domino drawing  ;).

It was a learning experience, it has a number of flaws and I'm not terribly happy with the proportions, but it'll serve well 'til I figure out how I want that slab of spalted maple that my sweety wants to make a top out of would be best incorporated into this...

And, yes, on my list is to get a roll of white paper so I can do real product shots rather than just finding a corner in the bedroom...
