Bought these last year and have had good success with these.  They grip better than any other clamps that have this type of hand pull.  I used their spreading feature on a bench I put together this weekend and it was so easy making small changes in height. Very easy to dial in to exact dimensions and very well built.  Built in the USA with a lifetime guaranty.  I have no affiliation but I do know I'm going to order another set.

Looks like they would be great for hanging microwaves and upper cabinets if the lowers are already in.

Looks like there goes more of my money :) Any idea how short they can be if that makes any sense? Short as in if you were using them to help hang upper cabinets, the low end of adjustment.

I haven't tried to see how short they will go but I do know there's a video on the Jack Clamp website.  I do recall seeing one used a a spreader in a drawer application.  Since they pull apart you can set up a bunch of different applications which are quite innovative.  I also understand they have a weight capacity of 300 lbs.  I have a Supermax the weighs around 275lbs that I have to lift so I'll see if that will work after I figure out how to jury rig a sling for it.  I haven't tried them on my MFT table yet but I'm sure they'd work well there.

A couple of interesting applications. You can spread from some pretty tight tolerances.

This went together really fast and stout. With the clamping pressure available this isn't moving.

for normal clamping how do they compare to the dewalt/irwin heavy duty clamps (the ones with the metal trigger) i've been loving these clamps

I'd buy from Jack Clamps direct.  $124.99 plus free shipping and no sales tax.  FYI, I've used mine for a number of projects and really love them.  Ordered another set for a total of 3 now.

Jack Clamps to the rescue. Big Festool Clamp wouldn't reach.  Just separated the JC and reattached under table.  Worked like a charm.
