Jessem router lift II 3d printed down draft dust collection

Milescraft has a similar product. I don't know how well it works, but I think it's a creative way for collecting dust with a lift. Let us know how well yours works. [cool]

Based on that open design, I'd say only marginal to some improvement can be expected. The Milescraft's looks far more promising.

Cool, I didn’t know it exists but doesn’t look to fit the design of the Jessem router lift design.

So I reprinted the hose part to be 2.5mm instead of 1.5mm and there is much more strength to the whole part + bonding between the split parts. The hose part was designed for a bosch 27mm hose but should fit the Festool tool 27mm hose as well.

I am very very pleased with the results from my 3/8 radius round nose bit for juice groove and handle cutting. Absolutely no dust at all!

The Milescraft kit works great, I've been using one since the original maker released it before it was made by Milescraft.  I use mine in an open table I made 20+ years ago with a Benchdog lift.  I store my bits and kits before and there is negligible chips escaping.  I connect my Incra fence inlet and the below hose to Festools splitter and a 50mm hose to the vac.

Been using this too and have had great luck. It makes changing bits a little more challenging but well worth it.

I have what is now sold as a Muscle Chuck adapter type 1 on my PC 7518 so avoid the wrench situation.  I bought mine years ago when first developed, can't remember the developer.  Rockler sells them for various router manufacturers
