I wish to thank the Festool staff in Lebanon for all there hard work & hospitality. You will not find a friendlier group. Brian & Steve (after they let him on the plane) opened my eyes to many better ways to use my Festool tools & accessories. I also want to thank the other attendees, who provided me with their own best practices without reservation. Just wish I could have kept up with them all evening.

If you have the opportunity, attend a class in Lebanon or Henderson.

I second what has been said.

I'll add that I observed even the most experienced Festool users walk away with some knew tip or new technique for using the tools, which seemed to be well worth the time and money for such individuals.

Staff and classmates alike were great people.  Everyone was willing to contribute and help wherever they could.  Though I took the class to accelerate through the initial Festool learning curve (which I accomplished), I think I walk away from the week most appreciating the camaraderie among fellow Festool users.  I especially want to thank my partners for both the advanced routers and the onsite cabinet class.  They are 2 of the best carpenters (and people) I've had the pleasure to ever work with.  Thank you for guiding me along the way.  Thank you all for sharing your perspectives and advice on the business side of things as well... especially to D.R.--I think you're right about the next boom and I intend to act on it.

Hey Don and Corey! 
It was a fun class.  I really enjoyed meeting everyone and I learned something from each student there and some from the teachers, too [big grin].  Like Don said, we got our $100 worth in the first hour or so.  And thanks to all you pros for being patient with my amateur questions.  Dan was a very patient partner and taught me a lot.

I thought I knew my Festools cold, but came away with lots of cool tips - did you know that you can adjust the tension on the clamping elements?  There's a set screw by where the rod enters.  Came away with a lot more respect for the OF1010 once I understood some of the accesories (we did sliding dovetails with it).  And now I believe that the 2200 really can run a big ass roundover bit in one pass thru maple, cutting it like butter.

Tickled to meet Timmy C on the way home, I'll be looking for your son on the Opera stage!

Hope someone will post pics of the class - I left my camera at home [scared].

And especially, thanks to all the Festool staff - I see what makes Festool the company that it is.

I just back from a guy's dream vacation.  My wife sent me away to find myself and over the last 6 days I feel I have made progress.  Too often I feel that the members think that I am hyping things up.  It gave me great personal satisfaction to watch the faces of the others in the class(es) as they spent time there.

For those outside of the the US, I am sorry that you don't have the opportunity to experience this locally to you.

To the Festool family - Words will never do justice.  Thank you for the opportunity, the experience, and also for the opportunity to observe the experiences of others.

To my fellow attendees - Thanks for accepting me as one of the guys and sharing your experiences, tips, and advice - as well as your friendships.

I did notice something that I really liked in the training room while I was there:
