Hi all,

I am new to the crazed group they call Festool Owners.  I have recently jumped in for my own collection after working with festool at my local woodshop for a couple of months.  I purchased...ready: [wink]
-MFT/3
-2 Quick Clamps
-Clamping elements
-TS 55
-1900 Track
-800 Track
-RO 90
-RO 150
-CT 26
-OF1400
-Guide stop
-Edge guide
and a bunch of Granat abrasive of varying degrees for the 90 and the 150.
I'm debating on the carvex right now.

Any way I was wondering what any essentials I'm missing or hacks you guys might suggest I make to add to my purchases.

Thanks and Cheers!

[scared] Where's the KAPEX and Domino [crying]

[welcome]

You will love the Carvex if you decide to buy it. I agree with Kev on the Kapex and Domino

A 23 foot non-AS hose is great for cleanup duties around the work zone.

Enjoy the tools, the list never ends. You have a great list of tools and by this time next year, you will be ready for another slide of the slippery slope.

The essential we're missing is having some idea of what kind of work you want to accomplish and what other tools you may have at your disposal.

Hi guys,

I'm gonig to be doing some basic type of work.  Building cabinets and small boxes.  I'm taking this on as a hobby and some immediate needs would be a small bathroom cabinet, workshop cabinets, a couple of bookshelves and for some beer money i'll be making some small tables.

Thanks,

Oscar

Start with the workshop cabinets, and congratulations...

Some other useful things:
-miter saw (I get a lot done with a 10" non slider but a Kapex would be nice)
-table saw (even small contractor type saws are helpful)
-something for faceframe joints, ie pocket screws or domino and clamps
-router table depending on the cabinet doors you will build
-finish nail guns and compressor
-Fein multimaster
-cordless drill driver (I use Milwaukee M18 fuels but Festool makes excellent ones also)
-jig saw for stuff like sink cut outs (Carvex is expensive but works well)
-a quality square
-and many many more

Be safe and enjoy the journey
