Our shop was full of OLD equipment. I didn't recognize any of the brands that were in there when I first came into the class. Probably not your machine, but looks just like it.

I also have a Grizzly 15" planer, 8" Jointer and 2HP DC.  So far I like them. Also bought a Powermatic bandsaw. It too iwas made in the east.

So no rain here just sunshine, congrads and have fun...

I work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 6AM - 6PM. And then have college mixed in the other four days. So play time is limited to when homework is done, or until spring break...

It's been a few months since you posted this so I was wondering how you like your new jointer.  I am in the market for an 8" jointer and being a hobbyist I can't rationalize spending 2 grand on a jointer. With that being said I can't afford spending 1000 on a piece of junk either.  I thought of this post after watching the newest wood whisperer review on grizzly new track saw. To me it looked like a piece o crap.  I'm just hoping for an honest review. Thanks
