Just ordered a Castle TSM-12 pocket hole machine

I prefer the Castle Head screws as well and find them to be quite a bit cheaper, although you also have to be a lot of them.

If the switch is a problem leave it on and get a foot activated switch.

I own a used PSM-20 that I picked up for $600 and then bought back up motors and some parts. I have about $1,000 in it and it works great. They are hard to find but worth it if you come across one.

Well......

The old Foreman is chugging along just fine, but.......

A TSM 22 "fell off a truck" yesterday right infront of the bay door at the shop......

I like the way the foreman clamps and drills at the same time.  The castle pockets look cleaner but on/off switch and the separate manual clamp kind of sours it for me.  I dont use that many pocket holes but I would be adding some pneumatic clamps to it straight away if I did.  As someone else mentioned a foot switch for on/off would be nice if you got creative Im sure someone could make one foot switch work both.  Step on switch = it would clamp and turn on at same time remove foot = unclamp turn off.  Now that would be nice and keep both hands free to move the material around.

Hey [member=43644]Gwerner[/member] my parents were born and raised in Concord! McFeely’s house brand pocket screws are the Castle style but with square recesses, although sometimes they are the inferior combo square/Phillips.

Hey Michael, interesting coincidence, I was born and raised in Yonkers NY.
