Hi all.

I just picked up a t15 drill set (plus countless other things).  All that I can say is WOW.

I bought it, figuring that I had 30 days to decide (after all, come on, over $500 for a drill??).  well, it only took me one day.  it is staying.

Anyway, on to the question ;)

I was a bit surprised that the bit offerings are so slim.  I guess that I am stuck with the random bits and drivers that I have.

What is this:
http://www.festoolusa.com/products/cordless-drills/centrotec-drill-bits/pilot-bit-with-depth-stop/centrotec-bit-holder-bhs-65mm-492648.html

compared to what comes with the drill (I think this: http://www.festoolusa.com/products/cordless-drills/centrotec-drill-bits/pilot-bit-with-depth-stop/centrotec-bit-holder-bh-60mm-492539.html)?  does this one hold in a standard bit?

I will likely pick up at least a set of the bits (metric is better than the speed-lock junk that I have)

Anyway, I LOVE this drill.

I don't have one of the bit holders you are referring to but I believe it is a bit holder with a locking collar like that of the eccentric chuck.

Just picked one up the other day. It's similar to the one on the eccentric chuck, but it's slightly different. Instead of a ball to lock the bit in place, there's a thin metal collar.... it basically locks in any regular small hex shank bit, even the 3/4" long ones, using the narrow groove around the shank. It also works with the quick release hex shanks, too.

So it sounds like this is much better than the magnet holder for stuff like square driver bits, then, where they sometimes get stuck in the screw?

I have an email out to uncle bob to get one of these ;)
