[eek]  I just placed my first Festool order,  for the Festool TS 75 EQ Saw & CT 48 E Dust Extractor, I used to be a custom home builder,  but have been ignorant to wth Festool was  [crying], so i have already got a Ridged Tablesaw and almost all their tools, so Im hoping I can incorporate the use of both since I do not have unlimited funds to just get rid of all my tools and buy the Correct Festool replacements HA.  I am hoping I added the correct accessories to my order.. I will be patiently awaiting delivery by fedex.ground [cool]  i didnt think i should waste money on shipping when i could save it for the next Festool correct?

Thank You to the people that create Youtube videos of their tools and uses, Sandra Powell of Sawdustgirl.com Thank You, as I was watching your videos...I kept seeing that Green and Grey everywhere and wondered wth  was that, so kept watching and reading your blogs and Tutorials....(yep I do that) and once you said it i went Googling...so here I am

Looking forward to many many hours of fun.

oh I am currently renovating (gutting and rebuilding) a 1892 Victorian era home, so there will be tons of built-ins and cabinetry in this job. which is actually my home LOL

Best Regards
Levi

congrats on the purchase. using festool makings working not really work.

Welcome to the FOG!  Under no circumstances should you buy any Festool sanders - they will soon multiply!  Just Kidding! [eek]

All kidding aside, the sanders for me were the sweet spot and I was amazed at their efficiency and dust collection when coupled with a CT.  I started in Festool with an ETS150 and a Midi and I soon added several more of the sanders.  Of course, all the other tools have their place and they all augment the "system" concept.

Good Luck on your Festool journey!

Mike A.

Greetings Levi from Down under,
You are not alone in your Festool ignorance. It surprises me often how so many People who work in construction have never heard of Festool.
