I had a sneaky suspicion you'd be the person to ask this ...  [laughing]

Honestly no - all I can do is provide a relative impression against my Hitachi - and it does doodoo all over the Hitachi based on "gut feel".

If it's not the best or the cheapest, I'm ok with that ... because I think it's pretty damn good and will do more than a good enough job for me. That, added to my confidence in Festool and my Festool dealer for ongoing support.

That said, I'd still love to have the opportunity to try it side by side with the big Bosch and the new Panasonic.

Maybe you guys over there in the land of stars and stripes could organise "The Big Screw In Competition" to see what driver would take out the championship belt.

i tried it against the 18v panasonic and the festool was slightyly quicker but then it should be as it is 'slightly' more expensive

Ha!  I'd love to play with it, my observations are based on a video I saw, so I may live to eat my words. 

It might be a while before we get the impact over here...
