I am thinking of tackling my first serious veneering project. I have dabbled a bit with veneering before, but just for simple stuff. This time I am asked to resurface an older hutch for Swedish friends of ours. The joints are almost all loose, so I can take it apart first, which makes the job a lot easier. I like taking on the challenge and have warned them upfront I am not really experienced yet when it comes to this type of job.
Now for the question: would the pump of the VAC SYS be up to the job when used with a vacuum bag (sized about 130cm by 250cm)? I have never had the pump running for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time. For this it might have to run a bit longer. Anyone done this before? Do I need special plugs to fit the pump to a vacuum bag?
