Just poured my 1st slab/Epoxy pc, sanding?

Wanted to experiment with some clear Epoxy(Ecopoxy) and tried it a couple days ago and after it’s 72hrs curing time it’s ready. The piece is a sewing top for my wife and it’s made of Walnut/Spalted Maple about 1”.

Never sanded any wood/Epoxy mix and looking for tips. Plan to use my RO150/CT36. Have Granat paper up to 1200

Lol, only thing that needs more help than my woodworking skills is my tech skills. Just built a 4’x8’ 1pc Walnut DR table, benches all w turnbuckles I would like to post. Lots of mistakes but I’m pretty proud.
