KAPEX 120 replacement blade, does the width matter?

Hi All,

Quick question. Was looking at a cheap(er) blade to cut some alu and plastics.

I notice that 260x30 is something other parties also have, but the thickness of the blade (kerf?) is slightly different.

I actually have not a clue if this matters? Can the KAPEX fit any blade, (being) 260x30 or does this it also needs to be within certain width?

I look for Kapex compatible blades. I have been using the Amana Tool/AGE Series Item #MD260-685 for cutting aluminum with success. Can't speak to blade thickness question and I never go cheap(er).

I use Amana/AGE blafes on all my Fes saws

2 things come to mind.  The laser lines defines the thickness of the blade.  And any zero clearance inserts will need to be redone.

I mount the Tenryu MP-26080AB Miter-Pro Plus Series on the Kapex when doing trim work
