Kapex and the Festool UG stand

An update on the  right side extension wing -- I did speak to Festool service and the options would be return it to the dealer or to have it repaired. I didn't mind either, but I took another look and even though swapping wings or brackets didn't fix the problem, squeezing the bracket to the rail closed up a 1/16 + of an inch gap. That made the difference to flushed the rail to the deck with zero lip in either direction. I use a block of wood on the rail face  and the clamp directly on the bracket  "V"  section, moving  the clamp from one side to the other until the gap was nearly closed.
Hope this help the issue people are having. (It still looks like the problem came from a casting issue).

Anyone tried to mount the UG extensions on a mft to see if they are proud of the table ? Could be that the 'stamped' brackets are a bit off and not the casting it self.

I will try tonight to see if it's proud of the MFT top as well. If it is going to try #3H's fix above, just bend it up enough to reduce the height overall, should work good.

I put it on the MFT and it fits perfectly. Everything slides perfectly either way. So it's definetly a casting issue with the right groove on the kapex.

If it's a casting issue with the right grove on the Kapex shouldn't this be posted on the Festool Problems section?  I can't imagine this being a defect without official notice (if that's what is is).

My Fed. Ex shipment of my Kapex got delayed for some unknown reason (Texas to California) so I can't comment on the condition of my purchase.

Charlie, I just opened the box and carefully looking for any unpacking tips.

My right hand wing is high on the mft3 as well, I've replace the right wing and now sits lovely. So in my case it's not the casting of the kapex, it's the wing it's self.
